The site updated, but what about the android app?

In my opinion the app is an easier way to enter the giveaways, but now it is not working. Is it going to update?

App was not official, aka not developed by SG dev. It's up to app creator whether he updates it or not.

I can write a new Android app, but I'd need to learn 2 big things:
1) How to log into Steam via a 3rd party app.
2) SG's API endpoints.

I think the old app worked by parsing the HTML as it came in.

Yeah, if there was an API, an app could be done very fast. I don't think there is a future for the old SteamGifts app.

From using Chrome's network monitor, I can look at where requests are sent to and the kind of response to expect, but I don't have the time/patient/motivation to reverse engineer an API like that.

Even if there's no official app, the site was viewable on mobile devices before, now it's a fucking mess.

The site now behaves excellent on my Chrome for Android, I see no reason now why I would use a much slower 3rd party app.
