Hell yeah of course. You won't regret getting it, if you are into strategy game. But remember to mod the game before playing

well for a more complex gameplay of course, espcecial in Medieval 2 & rome 2 where you can get a complete overhaul mod , where you can play in a complete different world like LOTR, warhammer, Game of throne....etc

Well, I prefer to stay vanilla until I've beaten it to see how hard the developers worked on the game, like Mount & Blade Warband, it's an amazing game on its own, but the Floris mod adds so many more features that make it seem like it's an official expansion to the game

if you want to wait, you can basically get the same collection on steam from either steam or amazon for the same price
also the grandmaster collection on steam will have all the dlc that this is missing for about 41 bucks based on lowest sale price, and if you are going to get all the games, may as well get their expansion packs too, idk if the unit dlcs are worth it though

why wait? its steam right now on gg.
"DRM:Steamworks (Requires a third-party download and account)
Activation:Must be activated on Steam"
edit- WAIT no. wait. one of them is securom(which is evil, so don't get that one)(clicked 4 at random and they came up steam lol, clicked the 5th and securom)

No it's not. Buy only Rome and Medieval II. Save 20$ bucks. Stay away from the rest.

This. I enjoyed both games, especially Rome which was a huge masterpiece.

I personally found Empire dissapointing. Napoleon didn't suit my taste and I only managed to play Shogun for a couple of hours.
Having said that I own Collectors editions for both Rome and Medieval II.

Even though I agree with you on Empire, Napoleon and especially shogun 2 have a way better system of micromanagement in place and your soldiers fight enemies individually which does enhance the overall experience.
The only downside with shogun 2 is all the DLC, they should have just released it in the base game.
I do have to admit that the setting in Rome & Medieval 2 is way better, (spent 1000+ hours on both of them) but that's more a matter of personal taste.

Is it worth it? Never played one of the games before, but $25 is a really good price
