uplay titles on steam just launch uplay, so...
Some people are just really weird about this, admittedly I kind of lean that way too - mostly so I remember what I have. :/
Grow Home and Gunslinger are Steam keys and superb games.

Im new to this bundle thing, so idk about uplay, why is it bad? isnt it covered by the aaa game?

Actually, it's not that uPlay is bad, it's just that people prefer having their games in a single place, and they like Steam more.
The client itself, I heard it's even better than Steam, but I can't confirm it myself right now.

Re-bundles usually come awhile after the original was available but this one seems awfully close to the time of the original bundle :/ (I'm pretty sure it's only been a month or a month and a half)..disappointed.

It was on 2nd Feb first time, but yes it is very close. I was thinking it might be to boost The Division but it's in the silly tier.
The Capcom rebundle was after 7 months which is all right.
Still, I can't really complain when I look at the competition...

grow home is available for Linux on steam, but it only has windows system requirements on the humble website... With recent region locks i'm kind of paranoid it might be locked to windows only? Can anyone reassure me?

No, but apparently ridiculous restrictions are a thing now, so I thought I'd make sure. I have heard rumors about OS restrictions a while ago as well. But thank you for trolling :) (or trying)
Edit: I sent humble support an email. They told me the keys were indeed only available for Windows computers. There is apparently indeed some kind of OS lock.
