Yeah, I only had that happen once...between 4 & 5. I was pretty upset at the time, but now I'm used to value reduction of games.

I think that one was because so many famous people died in 2016 that it became a meme. But for me, personally (along with a good chunk of other people), 2017 was waaaaaayyyy worse. Plus, Chris Cornell died in 2017, and as far as celebrity deaths go, that hit me hardest since at least Ronnie James Dio, and maybe since Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I was at a concert yesterday which was a cover of the whole white album ;) their rendering of Revolution 9 was including the backward message ;)

Nice! Sounds like it was a really cool show. I've seen plenty of Beatles tribute bands, but that sounds like it was really, really original in comparison. To hear songs like Happiness Is A Warm Gun live would be excellent.

They did a really good job, They're bands from Montreal getting together for this "super event" for the Jazz Festival. With a special guest apperance drom Brad Barr of the Barr brothers.
The signers were awesome and there musicians were at the top of their game. But the soundmen were lacking a bit with errors in cue or sound level...
All in all it was a great show ;)

That's right, everybody -- I finally hit level 9!! I've been carving away at this for a while, and pushed through it with the Cheevo Spam Train as well as a last little boost from public GAs in a dollar bundle.
So, to celebrate my latest milestone, I decided to put together another train. This one has 117 carts and 120 keys in it, and is what I think is a pretty interesting mix of games with something for everyone at least somewhere along the ride. I used the ESGST train builder, and now that I more fully understand how it works, I'm able to have a bit of fun with it. I literally just let chaos rule in this case, and used the shuffle function once all of my GAs were entered to determine the order of the carts. It turned out pretty well, but I was still certain to manually add a final cart that is one of my favorite games (you'll have to take the ride to find out what it is).
I will most likely not drive so hard toward level 10...I'll just let it happen naturally over time since it's a pretty steep hill to climb. But I'm glad to be level 9 now...I feel like that level represents the work I've tried to put into gifting around here, and I'm trying to have an appropriate amount of pride in getting there. ππ
