OK my drawing skills aren't too good and the photo didnt turn out well but I gave it a shot.
(Totally didn't spend the past 20 minutes reading it and drawing. Drew it like 4 times cause the map kept changing xD)

The front. It was describing the front on the porch so i started drawing, it then talked about the back shed. Since it is a map view i didn't include the interior view. :P Hope it's good enough xD

haha fair enough also do you know where the shed and sliding door is in relation to the house? i had trouble figuring out if the shed was directly connected to the house and if the glass was connected to the house

That was a touch one. I assumed the sliding door was to access the house from inside the shed so I drew the shed directly connected to the back of the house.
EDIT: I see why I thought it did. It actually says in the text that it leads into thehouse :P

Just to sweeten my lovely map ;) I also did an interior diagram of the shed including the glass sliding door leading into the house. The metal table isn't viable in this shot

do you mean before they reach the forest or when theyre in the actual forest? i assume its between 1/2 to 1 mile as after he mentions theyd been traveling for a mile shortly after they reach the forest

at least another 48 hours most likely, at this point therell pribably be a reward for everyone that gives it a shot, bonus points for adding some sort of scale and location from a birds eye view because thats what im having a bit of trouble with
