Yeah, end of the year has quite a few sales, but that also tends to show in the quality of them. Winter sale is always the biggest though.

Autumn Sale is official name.
Black Friday is pretty much US only, while Autumn is almost world wide :P

Hey, maybe Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear will be on sale this time. Only thing why I haven't started my new playthrough of Baldur's Gate ^^ Although I don't really see it on sale yet, maybe on winter sale... or next year :(

i consider more the sales now as a moment when all the games are discounted more than a moment with heavily discounted games

Apparently, there is a new sale coming on the 23th of November which will last till the 29th. The information seems to be going around the net for quite a while so it's mostly likely confirmed by now.
