The fact that so many people are posting giveaways for alpha keys is depressing. I could really use something to restore my faith in humanity. Lately, too many people have been acting dumb, selfish, greedy, and even worse. At times like this, it's more difficult to focus on all of the good people in the world.

Very true, but then you visit this thread, and plenty of people are giving away keys for no reason other than altruism :)
Hopefully the banhammer will soon rain an unyielding deluge of justice down on the reprobates trying to exploit these keys for personal gain.
As an aside, I had a nice "faith in humanity" moment today - picked up a hitcher who wouldn't leave the car until I accepted some cash for petrol! He wouldn't take no for an answer :)
