i keep getting random invites to join russian groups

I've gotten blind invites to Russian, German, French, Polish, Czech, Spanish, and Italian-language groups. As well as tons of English-speaking ones.

Steam REALLY needs a "allow only friends to send group invites" option, because there are bots with copies of Fortix doing nothing but spamming group invites.

Same, but it always comes in waves, like the profile is shown somewhere and everybody sends random invites then.

I think that i got an effective method against this inviters...or, they dont like me anymore :D dont know...i added an simple text to my profil page and now i get much less invites, really...the invite drop is huge...i got like 10 Invites/Week or so?...and now i get an invite maybe one time a week xD

I had the same problem dude, just because i joined their server on counter strike source. just go on ignoring them.. maybe we should all write a letter to steam, that they should make a new setting to block this spambots..

You can't be sure you are not russian. Some people live for decades and then - BOOOOM!!! - they find out they have been russians. The whole time.

My buddy got so many random invites from playing TF2 that he had to change his headline on his steam profile to:

"Not selling my sunbeams bonk helm. Don't friend me for that."

You're not alone, I wonder how can somebody, who is not my friend, can invite me to some random group.

In Soviet Russia, everybody is Russian. Including you.

The worst are auto invites that are triggered when you join some random server.

Same with me, except i get invites to give them tf2 items, and i dont even play it
