Question about region-lock Saints Row 4

Some days ago I bought SR4 from Amazon, didn't know that it was region-locked so now I'm wondering if I activate it with VPN, will I be able to play the game without the VPN? Because if that's the case, it's not worth it and maybe I can get a refund or something..

Well, as much as I know, you use the VPN only to activate the game. Once that the game is in your library you have no problem playing it.
But assuming that someone at Volvo sees this, you may have some trouble.
You should still try to refund it, but I doubt they'll let you as it is a key.

I mistakenly bought NBA Securom key instead of Steam key - the page had two different versions and I didn't see the correct one.

I contacted Amazon and they refunded me promptly AFTER I bought the Steam version as was instructed by them.
