Account Sync Bug?

Hi there, like most of you probably do, I filter (hide) the giveaways of the games I already have to make sure I don't get any trouble. The thing is, since I tried Magicka (2 weeks ago, on the free weekend), when I sync my account now, it says that I already own it. But I don't. Also, I haven't tried Chivalry this weekend (was also free) and it says that it is in my account aswell. Is there some way of correcting this? Thanks! ;)

You need to wait until Magicka is out of your Recently Played list. As for Chivalry, you need to resync after the game is removed from your library once the free weekend is over. Next time, don't sync during the weekend and you should be in the clear.

same here , it goes away after two weeks after you joined the free weekend.

The reason why it's in your game list here , is because this site gets data from your steam recently played list which saves data for two weeks , hope this helps :)

P.S. I can't wait till it erases magicka from my list as it's a game i really want but don't have a credit card at the moment.

Sadly its not a bug, its the fact that it takes up to 2 weeks for your account to clear up, even games that you didnt download....

When its a free weekend your account temporarily owns that game until steam resets your account.

I get it for Magicka. But not for Chivalry... I mean, I didn't even tried it and even though I synced my account just now (and the Chivalry free weekend is over by now), it is still there...
