Actually I did, I wanted to grab -50% discount on 60 Seconds!, but I forgot about it for a while and it ended yesterday. Not a big loss, I'm quite sure it'll come back during summer sale, not to mention that my backlog is already huge enough and I really won't die from playing something else before that happens.
Kinda hate Steam gifting changes that more or less forced me to spend my virtual Steam monopoly money on myself instead of grabbing Witcher 3 and making a nice giveaway like I used to ;_;. Sure, I can do the same with ROW keys, but there is huge difference in spending real money and virtual one I can always generate by selling 7k cards lying in my inventory.

I wanted to get the Pure + Split/Second pack from the last Disney sale on Bundlestars. Then real life distracted me for a few days, and I remembered the deal the day after the sale ended :/
I've been catching up on various other games that I picked up in bundles over the past few years though. (As well as playing way too much immortal Redneck). That'll keep me busy enough until the next sales start.

I'm no longer the kind of person to just buy a game on a whim, I have to research it, watch videos, and make sure it's not a purchase I'll regret. During the recent Humble Store sale that ended 4 or 5 days ago, I was researching Prison Architect. I watched the videos, read the reviews and took time to think about it. I had made up my mind and was getting ready to put it in my Humble Store cart when the local storm brought down my internet. My car is dead, so I wasn't able to brave the storm to try finding a place open late at night that had free wifi, and I only had a few hours left of the sale at the time, so I resigned myself to missing it. Today is the first time I've had internet in 4 or 5 days. On the bright side, I finally took the time to play KOTOR 1, which thankfully works in Steam Offline mode.
Has anyone else missed a sale on a game that they really wanted and instead discovered the joy of playing a gem that's been neglected in their Steam Library?
