You do know that if you have the monthly, you can get SOMA from the HJB trove, right? And if you don't and have a friend that does, they can send it to you. :P

But trove is not Steam!

Yes, but it's still the game.

There's a 'free' DRM-free SOMA too on Twitch Prime right now

Was thinking about getting tier 2 mostly for SOMA because I already have Momodora, but now I'm considering to just get tier 1 + the monthly with the coupon they sent me yesterday and it would still be around the same price.
I guess the question is how much do I care about having my games on steam.

Pretty good but I've got most of them already. I'll get just T1, not interested enough in Opus Magnum to spend for T3.

Same. T1: one owned, one wishlisted, T2: all owned, T3: wishlisted but not worth it for me at this price

this bundle with that 15 price tag on tier3 looks like a bundle where they forgot to add a game like witcher 3 goty steam key or fallout 4 goty lol

Edit: Soma worth the BTA if its cheaper than steam price, i loved that game but the rest are trash for me.

just fyi, there is no steam key for witcher 3

i know, but the 15usd tier still looks like that they forgot to add some good game, those were just examples.

indiegala has better bundles right now...

And?

indicating the poor quality of the bundle, groupies sometimes makes better bundles than IGNbundles...

That's how you see it if you are serious about that. From my perspective indiegala has never made any bundle that's better than any HB bundle, including the worst ones.

Groupies bundles are decent sometimes, especially with music bundles.

Do you know how sarcasm works? the old HB would never, never, never, never, never... (infinitely) have launched a bundle of the level of indiegala.

sarcastimente I'm saying that the bundle is very bad, the quality of the IGN bundles are falling drastically and do not be surprised that at the end of the year gogobundles have better bundles...

that at the end of the year gogobundles have better bundles...

seriously LOL. Did you see those review scores (and amounts) just for Tier 1? And sarcasm needs a bit more than your original statement.

so? wuppo was free and the other two games are $4 with coupons you can buy for about 70 cents... ¡WOW!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You talked about "better bundles" and "quality of" and now you're reasoning this by savings. The difference between HB and GoGo aren't the savings, but the quality of the games in their bundles.
But to also consider your savings argument: I don't see any coupons for the other two games. And 75% off wouldn't lead to 70 cents, but you sure know that.

I thought about this sarcasm or not thing, well, because actually there are people buying and praising indiegalas bundles for collector/card/whatever quantity over quality reasons and I totally believe they would be serious with this statement. But ok, you are are not one of them ;)

I agree IGN HB lacks the origininallity and freshness of former bundles but in the end I'm comparing bundle prices with Steam sale prices and with this criteria Tier 2 still looks like a very attractive deal for me for someone who does not own half of the games already. So I don't think it's nearly as bad as people make it.

It's literally a bundle about the game with the highest possible score. Quit whining.

Tier 2 seems fine to me, only own one game in Tier 1 and one game in Tier 2.

Permalink

Not bad at all. Already have 3/4 in BTA and not interested in SOMA, but I really wanted Subsurface Circular so I'm definitely getting Tier 1, and Simulacra looks like a decent extra (already had Wuppo)

Same situation as you - this time T1 hits 1 wishlist (subsurface) 2 other nice games which I can't get for under a dollar so dollar up :)

I saw 4,73 (but to beat you need to pay 4,74, so maybe it is the same ;))

I have an open tab with $4.71 (so pay $4.72)...but as usual probably won't be buying T2.

BTA would've been great for me but I already have momodora/LISA, so I'll pass.

Would be good if I would not have most of it. Maybe will buy T1, but I have already Wuppo... Also dont have Lisa from T2 and T3, but to high price for only 2 which I dont have...

Finally Nuclear Throne is fucking bundled. This bundle is really great and Momodora is a nice bonus.

"Repeats" Really? If this was a Fanatical bundle you guys would be cumming all over the place now.

Wasn't NT in one of the HB monthly? Either way yeah it's a great bundle that people will still shit upon for no reason.

It's fortunate that I already got Lisa in a past sale (and have yet to play it) so I own everything I would want in this bundle except for Subsurface Circular. I'll see if I can trade for it, if not I'll get tier 1.

I'll definitely get tier 1, might even go for tier 2 to grab Momodora (although I played the first game in this series and found it way too difficult, it seems like this one is more balanced).

Apart from that, the LISA "review" excerpt is :D

Almost bought Subsurface Circular when it was on sale on Steam this week, so this is a done deal for me.
I'll probably go with T2, though, for some giveaways. :3
