When you're starting out and have to compete with the established competition, you have to show that you will do an equally good job and then undercut the competition.
Show a good portfolio, and offer to do the jobs for a good bit less than what the established people are charging. Then once you become more reviewed and well-known you can slowly increase your prices to match the others
