I think it's because I created a 2x giveaway of rig n roll that required entrants to have contributed 5$ idk. Someone help or have the same problem?

No, you hit the value cutoff for contributing bundle games, in order to keep people from spamming them for points. Check the FAQ.

No, you should only have received $1 in money value since it was a indie gala 7 - below the average you gave away.

Unless, he really did buy it at the store... But let's be reasonable, the Games in your account screams that you purchased a Indie Gala 7. Also, the fact that you made a giveaway of 2 Rig n Roll's means you must have paid for 3 copies of them and most likely gave the other keys away to friends, which is probably unlikely, and/or kept them to yourself.

Moral: Please read FAQ, and http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/Ihcl4/how-were-planning-to-fix-bundle-keys-and-contributor-values-option-1-revised.

It's always those key abusers minding how much points they have. I don't see non-key abusers minding how much they have.

Doesn't matter. Once the game has appeared in a bundle, it will always be considered a tainted bundle game, whether key, tradeable copy, or printed on a gold embossed certificate, signed by GabeN himself.

If you think about it, it does matter since someone bought it for the store price. Also it is safer to trade with giftable copies.

It doesn't matter on Steamgifts. Rather than deal with a whole load of dishonest people trying to list their bundle keys as tradeable items for extra contribution points, the only way to keep things manageable is to consider all instances of the giveaway as bundle keys. If you think about it...

If the last month or two have taught us anything, it's that playing whack-a-mole with the Steamgifts bundlers is a losing game, as should be startlingly evident to even the most slow-witted of observers.

Also, if you are planning to trade the copy you have won, as I understand you are suggesting, this is a major breach of the Steamgifts rules, and is very likely to position you on the business end of the banhammer.

How did you get $30 contributor value? dafuq ? You should have $1 max, all your giveaways are bundle keys.

The first $25 are 'tax free' I believe, so even if your first games are bundle keys it adds as regular value.

Long story short: 25$ of bundle games contribution is converted into non-bundle contribution and rest of bundle games contribution is maxed at 20% of non-bundle contribution, meaning 20% of 25$ is 5$, so contributing even 324325346345$ of bundle games will always end up at 30$ unless someone gift non-bundle games to increase non-bundle contribution.

alkhdaniel linked thread with more details about that

Why do I get the feeling we will start seeing contributor value $30.01 required for entries now? :p

I thought the threshold for bundles was $25, not $30? (perhaps I'm wrong on this - I checked the FAQ, but couldn't find what I was looking for...)

If anything, you have been over-credited by $5, as these are all bundle games.
