I've entered 9,520 GAs and won 30 games. Only 9 of them was public. And only 1 has more than 1000 entries.

I've entered 8700 and won 35. So yeah, you might have bad luck or enter only high value-GAs with lots of entries.

No your luck is about on par with random chance... There was at least a couple of people that had entered well over 5000 giveaways before they won one. There was one guy who was over 7000 giveaways entered with no wins. It wasn't till a special one was made for him (cause someone felt bad I believe) that only had 2 people in it, him and one other that he finally won.

And on that day much rejoicing and partying was done. Trolls were blessed and babies kicked.... no wait... thats the other way around I think... I don't know hard to tell, both cry when they don't get their way....

Anyway ya just keep trying. My first win wasn't till nearly 800 entries into giveaways.

My first win was after 1500 entries. So there is nothing wrong in your situation. Just try GA with a small number of entries.

It becomes a little "easier" at higher levels, give a little to get a little, kinda thing.

It was "busy" even when I joined up 8 months ago, give or take, but these days even worse. Lv0 giveaways, even Lv1 now, regularly have 2000+ entries. Assuming even a dead on 2000 entries, that's a 1 in 2000 chance (regardless of your own contribution level) that's a 0.05% of winning that giveaway. Personally, I had stupid luck when first joining though, first win came after about 30 entries; a 281 entrant giveaway. Slowed down after that.

Around Lv2 it drops to about 500~700 on average, and slightly less the higher you go, so at Lv2, that becomes a 0.14% chance of winning a 1/700. Still not much, but heck, its all luck.

Best bet though is always going to be to watch the forums. Some of the more difficult puzzles only end up with under a hundred entries for a Lv0 entry giveaway. That increases your chance to an entire 1%, 20 times higher than a public version.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and seeing that you're not giving away the games you created giveaways for: blacklisted :) So your chances of winning a game still went a little lower ^^

Mine first win was on cca 1500 entries....
now have arround 5666 entries and 17 won games .... 5666/17 .... you can see its bad :)

Well I have won 4 games but they were forum and whitelist giveaways. I think I have under 1000(its like 700 entries last time I checked).

So my advice, do puzzles, giveaway to get a higher level... Then join groups... and be kind and helpful and you may be whitelisted with a small group of people :D

I always click on these and hope it's some clickbait-train. And then it's not and I'm sad.

Only 3 weeks online. Not a surprise.
Once you've joined sufficient amount of groups with a higher SG level, you'll get better luck.
The more you give, the more you win I've found.

I entered something around 3600 and won twice. The first one was 10000 gineway and the second one was a fraud ; ) But it is still good to give people something.
