Yes pretty much (check the "over" of my submission) Even though it was the original idea (the great wave is my favorite painting) I had to use other of the mt fuji's series of paintings to "color" the great wall, because the shapes weren't fitting well.

I looked at that one as well for inspiration before deciding what I wanted to do. You've done a remarkable job on capturing it within the shapes given.
If I may offer one bit of critique, you could have made the sky a bit grittier with some texture, and it's a bit too smooth in the gradient. If you look at some of his works there's often a very short gradient at the horizon, and then sometimes one at the top as well, often going into a completely different and darker colour. That is if you want to emulate his work. :)

Yeah I totally agree also constructive criticism is always welcome :) about the sky (and to be honest the boats too). I wanted something with lighter clouds like in the great wave one, but somehow after trying several stuff, nothing was satisfying and I got very frustrated with myself so I left it at that pseudo gradient thing. I might correct it before the deadline but I'm not sure.

I get where you're coming from. Sometimes you just have to say to yourself, enough is enough, and let it go. My pyramid feels a bit flat, but I knew that it would take me a bit too many hours to get the shading the way I truly wanted it, so I just let it go. The important thing here is having fun, learning some stuff and enjoying each others ideas and creations. :)

But there's so much stuff you can't put in the dishwasher! Like crystal wine glasses and some pans. :)
I almost made a joke about me also having a dish washer, but she refuses to do the dishes, but then I felt bad about it, and I'm the one doing most dishes anyhow. :P (both using the dish washer and manually)

Aliens approach! I know it's a storm, but looks like an alien spaceship arriving. :P Great job! :)

I decided to put some colors in mine. Let's see if I can make it in time. :O

A little over an hour left, depending on how/what you colour, that's time enough. :)

I was using Illustrator, so it took me a couple hours to color it with all the details, even though I used simple colors.
