And if there is "yY", how are there 4 hints? It's almost only 3...

Can't figure it out... I'm not sure exactly what #2 means, #3 has at least 3 answers, and #4 is just plain confusing (and google isn't being helpful). lol

So, this is my first puzzle giveaway. Wish me luck!
I'm not sure how hard it is. Hope, it's not too difficult... or boring :P
So, here goes:
yYxxx (letters ONLY)
world war two, weapons and women have the first two in common.
The last two are first letters that are found in Vodafone, T-Mobile, AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless when they are called according to what they do. The letters are also close neighbours in many alphabets!
In certain fonts, the central one is easily confused with this gold-winning digit. Also, it could represent a symmetry line (provided the both sides are symmetric ... which they aren't... DUH!)
The giveaway starts on June 16, and will last for a week or so.
Good luck!
P.S.(I has been solved within the first hour since posting... Not that difficult, eh? Just think a bit, and pay attention!)
Solution!
hints you that first two letters are the same, only the second one is CAPITAL
first two letters are "wW"
Vodafone, T-mobile and etc., are "mobile network operators". If you look closely, only "o" and "p" are right next to each other both here and in alphabet...
"l", this one even had 2 hints... the answer is non-capital "L"
