Far Cry 4 And Assassin's Creed Unity... Worth Playing right now?

Pretty distinct games there, didn't tried FC4, but what I've heard, it's as good as the third is, which I loved even on console...

I have Unity on X1 and imho it had some good improvements to the series. It's not the best of them, but it's still a solid game. Since you liked Shadow of Mordor, might be worth to check it if you're willing to pay its price now, I don't think it's worth for even the last discount on it. Also, it seems to be a really bad port on PC though... :S

could not decide between DS II and GTA V. So I voted for 'all'

I picked up AC:U on sale and from what I heard it's patched enough to be playable now so I'll give it a try soon, though I voted for GTA V since I think that is the one most playable at this point.

I still play AC:U on my uplay since i figured having it on steam would just have me running 2 drms.
Right now, its pretty playable. Most FPS issues have been patched out, i used an ENB to further enhance the color cause some of it
seems washed out sometimes. The co-op factor is what keeps me going back to it. Playing with other custom distinct Assassins from all around the world.
I would wait for a really nice sale (75% off or nothing. I had to pay the equivalent of like $20 for a local physical preorder..yeah sea region.) before even bothering with it though. I was hoping they'd have more DLC planned for it rather than the
Chronicles spin off.

My partner plays a lot of FC4 with his housemate, they both love it and say it's an improved version of 3. Which I would say makes it a great game. I watched one of my friends play a few hours of AC Unity and it looked good but not really spectacular. I imagine you'd like it if you are already a fan of the series but I'm not sure it would be too enjoyable otherwise.

Now is a good time to get into GTA though since it's still basking in that new release glow and it'll be easy to find people who want to play with you. If you haven't played GTAV before I'd vote for that, but if you only want it for the multiplayer than I'd vote FC4 personally.

Unity sucks IMO, Far Cry 4 is better yes but GTA V is the best one in that list. Can't comment on Dark Souls II but I'd put in in this order if I had to.

FC4 is a great game but if you've played 3 then you might find 4 boring because its exactly the same except for the story obviously. I didn't have an issue with it since 3 is a great game too but some had issues with it being too similar. Hell its a franchise, kinda like the drama the Batman games a while back. I think I read something about new combat but the combat was great in batman.

DS2 - What is this a remake or HD version? I love the souls franchise but I got 100% on the original DS2, so I cant see myself playing the HD version, guess it depends on if you have played it yourself. If you haven't, and because of your demon souls avatar, I'd go with DS2.

GTA V - I liked SP. Online has gotten boring so far. Depends on if you want to do random stuff in an open world with friends. Not my cup of tea. I'm one that likes missions and objectives, which it has, but I'm done with those. If you can create your own fun in an open world online then go for this one. Maybe there will be modded servers in the future?

In my opinion FC4 was just a redskin of 3 with a worse story. You do all the things you did in FC3 with better graphics but a much lamer story. Many times you are offered a choice but all it really does is change the dialogue. I personally have not played unity but I've heard it is still somewhat buggy.

Unity is not as bad as people say, give it a try, all in all it is awesome and beautiful. far cry 4 is far cry 3 with a story of 35-40 hours. The prison DLC is shit, but the yeti rocks in my opinion.

GTA V was too short in single player (played it on PS3). Don't know if I will get it for PC, is MP worth it? I don't know ...

If you decide to give them away, I would like to be given GTA V. Love the franchise and I believe it's worth it.

GTA V multiplayer looks really fun. Best one on the list.

Both games are running pretty smooth on my rig. Windows 7 i5 3570k GTX 670 8g ram.

After that Watchdogs clusterfuck, I wouldn't trust much of anything by Ubisoft to be worth playing anymore. If they had anything worth playing to begin with. The only thing I think I'll stick with right now is Might and Magic X since that's my favorite RPG series for pc.

Just bought Far Cry 4 few days ago. I've got to say that I'm surprised how much they've polished the game-engine from FC3. It's really smooth and fun to play actually. So, Far Cry 4 in my opinion!

Personally, I've had no technical issues with Assassins creed unity what so ever. I do run an AMD 290 card, so maybe most of the issues are NVidia based.
I stopped playing the game, after uplay decided to delete my savegames 20+ hours into the game. I liked the game, but I can't be arsed to replay 20 hours, when I have other games to play. What a shame :(
