Thanks for heads up, trying to figure out what the meaning of "Soundtrack Edition" is..
Already own it so don't wanna claim a copy if there is nothing new for me, can't find any soundtrack for it in store at all.

well.. the game isn't free.. at present its at least 1$ worth when you miss the ga. but the worth will increase when the date of the lowest price goes more in history..
thats price policy

The worth won't increase anymore. The only thing you will be able to trade it for (at least in a while from now, when the traders all now it's been free) is other games that have been free and maybe some tier 1 bundle games.

ok then go in a supermarket and say that you wont pay anything for 1 apple, because it was free in the week before ;-)
oh and i just wanna pay about 5 cent (instead of 25 cents now) for a bun, because my grandparents payed so much in year 1934..

Those examples are just ridiculous. Trading is something entirely different then retail shopping...

I'm not the one deciding the worth of an item, it's the traders that decide what it's worth for them. If you're lucky, someone will give you something better for it, but most (big) traders won't. Trading is all about mutual agreement....

True, but smaller ones also tend to want to get way more then their games are worth. I have given up on trading half a year or so ago and just started giving games away :D

its still a market with quotesa and demandes...
both curves are setting the prize.
i just want to make clear, that its ridiculous to trade with years old values..
we life at trhe present and not in the past. idf someoner want the a special gasmer, he could have luck with a giveaway in the near future. He could also missed it (poor guy ^^) or the next ga will be 1 year later.. it doesn't matter
There is always a prize, nothing is for free ( even not the death- it costs your live ;-) )

Just look at the trade forum. Games that have been free are usually only traded with other games that have been free. No matter how long ago it is. I'm sure at some point the prizes will rise again, but not in a while. Again, I'm not the one setting prizes, it's the traders that do.

Not really. If it is not a DLC, I don't miss it, but my Steam-originated MP3 folder is a bit messy for a time now.
And if I have it then oh well, I'll hopefully can let someone else enjoy the game who missed this giveaway for some reason.

You can set up your location as whatever you want on Steam. What identifies you is either your IP (which VPN changes) or Paypal.

For some reason, they say I have already claimed it but I can't find it anywhere. I did it from work with 2 other coworkers. The same happened with one of them, so maybe it has something to do with using the same IP address, even though we're using our own accounts?
