When I first did it, I had copied an extra space into the code, and it didn't work (same error you received).
Typed it in manually and it went through fine.

Pipolz can still farm keys, with some extra work but still.. i dont like GMG at all, rarely its good to buy cheap stuff or freebie... but its totally all. Not really reasonable when they had plenty of us pay $1 for it, with the understanding that we'd get it back in store credit, and they've kept us waiting for over 2 months now without crediting us a cent.
That is to say, it's not a matter of 'getting something twice', but of 'being prohibited from getting something at all, because GMG is being their usual unreliable self'.
As far as what you're describing, it's not like multi-accounting would be hindered by that, so it's hardly curbing those going in with the intent to abuse the promotion.

I'm not saying it's fair to the people who bought it already, because that's just mean, letting people think they have a good deal because of the golden joystick stuff and than just giving it away for free, but the system would be abused if they made it more than 1 per account, so they should have made it available again for those who bought it before today, not for everybody

Well, even if they do eventually give us our $1 we're owed (and given their history, there's reasonable odds that we won't), we still got conned into trading in for store credit unnecessarily, and we still end up with one game less than anyone that manages to get it now (as the original pack didn't include the free Black Friday game). But, that all aside, just grating that they're ignoring us for two months to go ahead and do something that basically mocks us in the meantime.
Then again, it's entirely typical of GMG- and I knew that to begin with, so I should just blame myself for having made a last minute kneejerk change of decision and purchasing the promo despite knowing better.
Doesn't mean I won't take the time to express my exasperation about it a bit. :P
That aside, I mostly just meant to address the expectations you seemed to have expressed- while the individual in question may have indeed have been indicating an untoward approach, the common theme in this thread is that reference being made by those of us who've already paid for the bundle, so it's reasonable to give benefit of the doubt toward the intentions of such comments, no? :)

People pay for games all the time, then watch them go free or on a drastic discount. It's happened to me dozens of times. No big deal.

Why would they tell me anything? I just asked them if the voucher is legit or not, and all I got is what I said above.
You can try to go to their costumer suport ( https://greenmangaming.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new ) yourself and ask for more details, but I don't think they will tell you too much
