Sounds interesting. If I had a decent EBook reader, I'd be on it.
Also about this
Defiance, apparantly they're giving away a F2P game

An out of date Android cell phone with a 2 inch screen and a battery held in place with tape. It works, but that is all you can say for it.
Tried a few games on it, got two running. Canabalt would lag, and Heroes of Loot ran great but was hidden behind my thumbs. :P

Wool is supposed to be really good, but I haven't read it yet.
I read After the Fall,.... by Nancy Kress. I started out good but then got bogged down with politics and I lost interest.
Octavia Butler is supposed to be good but I haven't read any of hers yet.
I've read some Zelazny but not the one in the bundle, but he's usually good.
I can't stand Kim Stanley Robinson, but a lot of people like his stuff.
Fritz Leiber is from way back, suposedly good but don't know.
And if nothing else there are some short story collections (Lightspeed is not the best sf mag but might have some decent stuff) so there's bound to be something you'd like.

Wool is really good. I picked it up back in the fall and really enjoyed it. I actually just finished the series yesterday (there are 3 books as far as I know) and it's pretty crazy. You should read it if you can!

I second that, putting them in the first tier is ridiculous :D
