Puzzle ended.

Due to me messing up and not posting this thread earlier when I meant to, this is a lot easier than it should be.

Anywho, here's my first attempt at a puzzle giveaway, good luck.

Solve me!

Your clues!

One might hear this shouted a lot if you take a wander around St. Andrews.
Half the amount of letters in the word ostrich.
It's almost the longest river in the UK.
Furthermore.
A prequel to the first.

HINT - The five clues should give five answers, which should lead you to the solution.
HINT THE SECOND - Numbers.

SOLUTION

The answers to the clues are

4 ("Fore!" is shouted by golfers, St. Andrews is a famous golf course).
8 (This was the clue I messed up, as I stupidly did 7 twice - Anyway, half the amount of letters in "the word ostrich", which is seven. I left out the quotation marks to leave the clue ambiguous).
7 (The longest river in the UK is the River Severn, which is almost Seven).
2 (Too).
0 (The number preceding the first number).

48720 is the Steam app id for Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword, which is the solution, and the game I'm giving away.

there is no word that has 3.5 letters and is both a river and a synonym to furthermore

It used to be, I've not used Itstoohard in a while, but I must've tried about 20 guesses before it gave me that huge retry countdown. I guess it's to stop spamming/brute forcing or something, unless it is actually a bug.

Sometimes it happens. But it seems that how many answers you tried and the time is random. I think it's a bug.

I've done a lot of Itstoohard puzzles in the past and I've never seen this happen before. The suspicious thing is that it seems everyone has it now (as the number of guesses on that puzzle isn't going up) so it may be a server side problem on Itstoohard.

Edit: I guess it's back to normal now.

Hah, I got the wrong numbers anyway.

Gumby4Ever, it's the AppID for Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword, which is subsequently the answer. I don't think I would have ever had linked the numbers to a Steam AppID though.
