2024 GOTY nominees from the game awards were revealed!!!

Hello everyone. This year's GOTY nominees were just revealed. You have probably, at least, heard about the Game Awards, which is basically the Oscars gaming version, hosted by Geoff Keighley (I had to google that surname)

This year was defintely a weird one game wise in my opinion full of highs and lows, sometimes even under the same game, looking at you HD2. Did you miss any game that you believe should have been nominated? I personally think that Helldivers 2 should have been instead of ER:SotE or Wukong/Astrobot.

Mostly yes, I would swap some games here and there tho
Mostly no, there are a lot of better games that came out this year than this selection
NO, tf are this nominees? A monkey with a typewritter would have choosen better

Wukong definitely belongs in the nominations based off what I have seen.

I had never even heard of Astro Bot before... and looking at gameplay while it seems solid doesn't feel like GOTY material(maybe it is... but being PS5 exclusive I won't ever play it(as I won't own a PS5)), Balatro while great feels like to much of a niche for GOTY material to. I would have swapped them out for other titles.

but Diablo 4 in best ongoing game... over Path of Exile? D4 is good for casuals... and the first playthrough... but if you want to keep coming back your best bet is POE for ARPGs.
