May I suggest getting back to your old group instead of creating a new one?

1. Creating a new group will not change the outcome if it isn't properly managed.
2. The older group died for a reason. Did you find that reason? Look into it, and try to fix the issue which killed the group.

Not trying to be a jackass or anything, just suggesting, since creating and getting a group up can be difficult, and I don't think that creating a new group using the same concept than the previous group will make it stay alive any much longer than the old one. :)
