Hi all, my huawei p8 lite turns off on it's own when i'am not using it for like 1 minute. The screen goes darker, darker, and darker until it becomes black and shut itself down. However, when it becomes black i can still bring the phone back up by clicking power button at about that time. But when it goes black and i don't click it for like 15 seconds it shuts down completely. I have replaced the battery today with a new one and did a factory reset, but it still didn't help. Any suggestions guys?

This will probably be a dumb question from me.......I'm not trying to be rude, but are you a new phone user? Because your problem sounds like when the phone goes into sleep mode if you don't use it for some time,go into the phone settings->display->and you should find a "sleep" (it can be named in an other way for you) option where you can set a certain time when the phone should go in sleep mode, for example go on 2 or 5 minutes.See if this helps. :)

If this is not your problem than i'll most likely delete this post :)

it was set to 30 seconds, now that i changed it to 2 minutes, the phone obviously starts to dim after 2 minutes, but when it goes completely black i need to boot it up again. Shouldn't sleep mode just dim down the phone and i could bring it up with just one click and use instantly? it shouldn't turn off as far as i understand.

So the phone just shuts down completely after it goes to sleep mode? That's weird.I'm going to dig a bit trough the internet to see if i can find any solution about this problem.

Some people say this might be a hardware issue, not so much a software issue.
An other person's solution was to take out the micro SD card because it randomly stopped for him and that caused the phone to shut down.
Other thing i suggest to do is contact the huawei support,or if your phone is under warranty try going with that if you wish. :P
