I just listed the main series. I played and completed Revelations 1. That was actually a nice game. Thinking about Revelations 2 but I dont like Claire's design to much and the bonus mode is again a serious grind. Also it rarely gets a good discount.
Also played Survivor I think. That was some kind of PS2 shooter on a giant cruise with some noname characters.
I admit that my interest in RE7 is the lowest right now. Don't know but it didn't grip my attention.

7 is just a new experience! but its a really cool story that goes together with the franchise. As a RE die hard fan since my sega saturn days. I enjoyed it. Give it a try! Just dont expect a "normal" RE game/story from it. And play the DLC's :)

i hope to god, that the mechanics of Mr X from RE 2 remake, don't carry over, if it does, might actually be a deal breaker for me
Nemesis shows up at various points in the story in 3, and if i choose to shoot him dead, then he bloody stays down (untill next story point), and not just gets up again after 20 seconds
dunno how i feel bout that 4v1 MP mode, it looks interesting, but not something i would try out with randoms online tho

Hm, didnt read that far O.o MP modes are always a pain. Hopefully I can ignore it for the most part.
As for Nemesis it is hard to say but he had bonus weapons in the original. So either they provide them in another way or he can still be downed.

To this day it's considered one of, if not the, best RE game. It was originally supposed to be RE3, but, getting released on a deadweight of a console, means it got treated as the redheaded stepchild of the series.

Well, colour me surprised. I do not usually follow video games news so it is no wonder if I miss something. Still this news got me completely unprepared. Resident Evil 3 is coming to Steam. I did not know they remake it (although hardly suprising concerning the praise they got for RE2).
I think it is time to play some more Resident Evil:
Now I need just some motivation (maybe during christmas vacation as RE0/1 are perfect for my laptop) :P I think Resident Evil is the only major video game series were I have played through most of the main games. Played RE2 and CV on PS, RE1/Nemesis on PC, RE4 on PS and Steam, RE5 on XBox and Steam, RE6 on Steam. So yea, I may be a bit excited about this one.
