Not quite sure it's against the rules since participating doesn't require you to join any of the discords or groups, or visit any referral links. Moreover, there are actual SG giveaways exclusive to the group. Although I do agree giveaways not held on SG that require you to do stuff e.g invite friends are annoying and usually frown upon.

Edit: I see the rules include not only require but reward users who do certain actions, so maybe it is indeed against the rules, although a discord server seems harmless enough.

I dont think those ways to enter are against the rules, hear me out:
I read through all the FAQ and I dont see anything about restricting the entering process on anything regarding Steam only giveaways or Discord only giveaways. The group gives away the games posted on SteamGifts completely fairly, whoever is rolled gets it, all have the same chance.
On Steam, there are individual rules and entries the group on Steam would prefer to keep if possible so active members are rewarded. It has nothing to do with SteamGifts as the gifts on Steam are only posted on Steam with the adjusted entry rules, not SteamGifts.
SteamGifts only is used to give away a few games and promote people to come to the Steam Group where they can win other completely unrelated games to those given away on SteamGifts.
Is this ok? can you show me where in the rules it restricts how other sites or promoted sites are run? I think there was a misunderstanding.
