I agree with you. Mine is quite lower than average too; however, I refuse to jump at every cheap game. I have friends who bought over 40-50 games during summer sale and they aren't even playing them.
Honestly I am not happy to have been made to feel like a "lower" class gamer just because I am picky with the games I buy, which happen to be much fewer than most of my friends buy.
I am not salty about not meeting the requirements, I wouldn't want to join anyway. I just detest the attitude that my account is "bad" because I have fewer games.

i have alot of games, and i dont play them. To be honest, there is max 10 games made after 2010 that are actually good in my opinion... CS:GO is one of them, though it fukt up real hard lately. Maybe didnt find much games, cause im a racing gamer? :P

Instead of every user having to take a screenshot, upload it somewhere, and link it here, why not just use https://steamdb.info/calculator
SG says the average user has an account value of $4509. So you can just post a link to your account value like this and you are higher than the average use if you account value in green is above $4509.
Edit: It would also be very easy to fake the screenshot.

it is easy to fake a screenshot, but who cares? I mean, most people arent even whanting to join the group. overall i saw that basically all these "above average" accounts, have 500+ games, i prefer screenshts because as i said, my home network fukt yesterday and im on 2g internet from my phone, so checking steamdb each time isnt the most optimal way to do dis work. I rather have a few smal SS' gathered in one place. When my internet will just work, ill do some more verification steps and update group info and junk, now Im just collecting members

so, out of 150 people only 23 are interested... One way its bad that people dont like it, but i like the other part of it more. Im meaning, the part that means "less people = better quality (hopefully)"

I don't think those stats mean much because I personally choose to not add any bad games to my library. For reference, my worst rated game is nba 2k16

Well, it's all up to you. What is a "bad game" anyway? I have played many games with poor reviews ("mixed" and around 50% positives on steam) and enjoyed them while there were also high rated games that I didn't enjoy at all...

"Is there any sense in doing this?" If you want there to be. According to the poll not a lot of people are interested so even if lots of people qualify you still could end up with a neat little group because not so many want to enter who would qualify.
I'm personally not for this, but if you ever want to make a group for the other over average user stat (Percentage Played) then I'm in. :D

Hey guys, i recently (literally 5 minutes ago), got my account value higher than the average SG user.

So anyways, i am thinking of making a group for the lucky ones, who are over the average in account value, compared to the "average" SG user.
Problem is, Im not great at managing groups and creating them, so finding someone who is willing to help me in creating this would be great. Just leave a comment here, and I will possibly add you as a moderator, or whatever :P
