Region related google problem

Hi fellow SG users,

Since yesterday Google has been acting strange for me, it might be a region related problem but i'm not sure.
What has happened is that the black bar on top of the screen has disappeared all of a sudden which is quite annoying if you want to search for a picture, read the news or translate something quickly.
This is what the homepage looks like for me now, and only after I click google.com (where the red arrow points to) it shows the page including the black bar.
My current location is The Netherlands btw, has anyone else experienced the same problem?

The only thing that you need to see from those pics is the black bar not being there right?
Why the need for HD pics?

google.nl looks fine to me. have you tried using another browser?
