Starbound & Humble Bundle... Be careful.

Just be careful trading for humble games in general.

Some peeps use fraudulent credit cards

i always trade with the same guy to get bundle games. I trust him and there are never any problems.
This is what happens if you try to buy the cheapest of the cheapest.

Funny, I was just reading this on Reddit a few minutes ago. Several people in the thread are saying they're having similar issues so maybe there's just a problem with some of the keys or something.

The more likely scenario is that you got scammed. The guy you got Starbound from probably either

A. Bought it with a stolen credit card, or
B. Issued a chargeback

at which point Humble would have contacted Valve and told them to remove that copy of Starbound since it wasn't properly paid for.

For a minute I thought this was for a discount on Starbound but it wasn't which left me soooooo depressed, it made me get fish eyes just reading the OP and my brain kept repeating ignore ignore useless information. welp it's bed time so nite nite.

I just had two of my games revoked. Pretty sure I got them from the same trader although I've forgotten which one it was..

Ever since the humble site introduced credit cards as a payment option, a lot more of this was bound to happen. That's why I don't trade humble stuff any more, if I want it I buy it. Even though most the time I can get the stuff cheaper from other sites.

I have a feeling the humble site is going to shut down because of this crap.

Well atleast when you buy it again you will still have all your progress because of the cloud save :D

Did anyone have problems with tradeing other games or only from HB ? I recently got 2 AAA wich were both keys and now Im scared that they will be gone ;(

Don't trade anything that comes from humblebundle.com, they just don't care about scammers.

Yup. I just got 2 games removed today & the person I traded with is just ignoring me. I did the best I could I reported him to SteamRep. sadpanda. :(

You'd think people would have learned not to trade for (Humblebundle) keys by now

Same for me :(. Traded Morrowind GOTY for it so wasn't even really because I was trying to get it cheaper. The two games were going for the same price around that time.

Never happened to me, but good thing they started revoking keys at least...
