What game should I get for my birthday?

Bioshock infinite

Portal 2 is the best game ever made. It is so original, because it is kind of a puzzle game with a story and isn't in a typical enviroment like portal 1 was. After the story is completed, the game continues to infinity. Steam community makes co-op maps wich can be usef by anyone.

Im not a big fan of tomb raider so this isnt biased but the new reboot actually looks pretty damn good

You're probably going about this the wrong way.

If you want suggestions that are actually helpful and on-target, you need to provide some information up-front. There are two ways to do this:

1) List your favorite games so people can suggest similar games.
2) List your criteria for what kind of game you're looking for.

-- Platform?
-- Genre of Game?
-- Single or Multiplayer?
-- Game Limitations (bandwidth/graphics/peripherals/cost)?
-- Age Limit (age of game/age of player)?

If you don't know you want it, its probably not worth spending 60$ on.

None of us have played games that aren't out yet, so we can't give a recommendation for what to preorder. Preordering is moronic. Get a good game for $10 instead.

So far (of what I've played), my favorite games from 2012 are Borderlands 2 and XCOM - Enemy Unknown.
Favorite from the year before that was Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

So those are my "add game here"s.
It looks from your library, wishlist, playtime, and the listing of CoH2 and ArmA3, that you're into things that are more strategic -- so I'd go with XCOM of my three.

Or ArmA 3, based on how much I enjoyed the free version of ArmA 2.
