PAYDAY 2 Re-Downloading. Closed.

I have bought recently PayDay 2 and for the first night i have downloaded 2gb / 16gb ,, and the next day to resume it was 0 . 16gb so i started again... until the end of that day 7gb / 16gb .. and i decided to copy and paste the download folder from steamapps.. so i can have the backup.. the next day which is today, it started from 125mb / 16gb , so i decided now to load up the back uped download folder hoping to get it back at 7gb.. but sadly , aint happen , no back up on the 7gb process and i have to repeat again.. once i stop again i think it will go back again.. i cant leave my computer on the entire time, because i am not 100% time at my house, and no one to watch it..

This only happened in PayDay2 , last game download Just Cause 2, no problem.. and also the updates.. ( i think it's specific problem for this game )

and yeah PS: You sir have better internet than me, which is 10mbps++ , i only have 2mbps + users around the house , so i cant force the entire net for the download.

there is an event now on pd2, so we have several gb update every day. if you did not finish previous update, so next day update files are changed, and you have to reload it. if you have a bad internet, just wait for a week and download the final update

So i have to wait for like next week and begin downloading.. safely for the procedure of download - pause - shutdown - on - resume - pause - and so on..

if you have only 1 update, downloading with pause/resume works fine

When Payday 2 updates it basically redownloads the entire game, checks for differences then gives you those files and there's been complaints about this as long as the games been available. As mentioned there's currently an ongoing event that the game has every year and this makes the game pretty much unplayable for some.

Edited. Yearly Event? so sad i missed.. but nah... anyways , gladly i survived GTA V download 3 months ago phew. I think i can wait next week ..

better safe than a burning house.. , I only do it like, overnight or when someone is home.. :)

and i do know that computers can run like the entire year w/o being shut down but .. a waste of electricity and you get the point.
my pc is not a server
