At least I can park close to the store in the winter! So who is having the last laugh now... still you probably.

I quite like Proteus. Only clocked 50 minutes in total, but 10 minutes is enough for one session. I've put it on not long before sleep time each time I've tried it and it really relaxes me.
In open world games it's sometimes nice to walk around and explore.

I do. It's fun to explore virtual worlds.
Only, I would never call these "games", because they simply are not games, but rather simulators.
Comment has been collapsed.
Wrong, they are considered games.
Just as any simulator, Euro Truck Simulator or Flight Simulator for example, are considered games.

simulator
/ˈsɪmjʊˌleɪtə/
noun
1.
any device or system that simulates specific conditions or the characteristics of a real process or machine for the purposes of research or operator training: space simulator
"any device or system that simulates specific conditions "
So Grass Simulator is a Sim,as it does mimic grass growing, which is a specific condition
And granted Euro Truck 2 will not make you a truck driver, but it still Simulates truck driving
But in the end it is still a game,as it is not a true Simulator by the definition
Game
/ɡeɪm/
noun
1.
an amusement or pastime; diversion
2.
a contest with rules, the result being determined by skill, strength, or chance
3.
a single period of play in such a contest, sport, etc

Yeah Dear Esther and The Vanishing of Ethen Carter are good ones.

For me Skyrim is a bit of a walking simulator at times, but that's about it.

It doesn't even need to apply to single player games specifically, I even like things like Second Life. It's cool to just go around looking at the stuff people created, perhaps with some relaxing music for an especially soothing experience. And in an online game, the fact that people CAN be there but aren't just makes it feel even more deserted and peaceful.

In general, yes I do.
I like the qualities which they exhibit in terms of telling a story and connecting on a personal and emotional level.
Dear Esther, for instance, hits the emotions square in the stomach and games almost never do that. Miles ahead of the ability of mainstream gaming, where your total emotional investment is keeping your people all alive because you get an achievement for it.
I also prefer Wes Anderson to Micheal Bay, and have pieces of paper that say that I spent lots of time being smart but still manage to pour boiling water over my hand when making tea.

Really, I like these, which I've played for example Mind: Path to Thalamus. I like it, because these games usually has great graphics and great story. For me the most important in gaming is story, not gameplay or sounds/music or even graphic.

Yes but I'm biased and I know they're not for everyone.
