Not sure where to mention it, but for me the progress on nonograms is sometimes not saved/get lost after completing other one's, so I accidentally complete the same nonogram and discover I already joined giveaway. Happened twice in 1 day, just because I forgot which of new threads I already opened.
Any plans on future changes for that? <3

I guess if i KNOW what the game is behind nonogram AND have a feeling I might have entered it - it would work
But from my perspective I just see a thread I don't remember entering, so...not really helping in that situation

I was thinking of a way to track it if there’s no saving/account creation implemented on site.
Like if you completed a nonogram, it would technically means the next link in the history is the giveaway for that nonogram.
Anyway, beyond that I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️

ah, yeah, or check if I opened that specific nonogram before at all. Might actually try that in the future, thanks

Works perfectly for me... do you use a private window or something? Maybe you're accidentally clearing the cookies and other site data.

No, same chrome profile every time. Latest one's in this thread for example are remembered, older one's already cleared my progress.
Didn't clear cookies intentionally in recent weeks, and pretty sure I don't have a program doing in automatically....but I can see that being a posible reason, if there is nothing else what would cause that, 100%

Hmm that is quite strange, I will pay closer attention to it to see if any progress from past puzzles gets reset
It does seem like my progress for weeks 1-5 has not been saved, but it is possible I solved them before I implemented the progress saving so I guess that might explain it :P.
Otherwise there is also a limit in localstorage that varies from browser to browser, so if it's at capacity it might purge some old data.
Let me know if this keeps happening with weeks 6+
Thanks for the feedback! <3

If I had to guess at this point it probably has something to do with the local storage, since easiest explanation is usually the correct one
But just in case, I will notify if new one's become unsolved again

I loved hexcells, and especially Infinite had some really tough level.
Thanks for the recommendation! Its on my wishlist already (but there is a lot of random stuff) so i wasnt even aware about it tbh.

RosimInc, if I could make one visual improvement suggestion, it's to increase the contrast between filled squares and the grid. The combination of black fill and a black grid makes it a bit hard to count filled spaces. It's just a minor annoyance. Not a huge deal.
I've seen online nonogram implementations were the grid changes color. If a space is empty, the surrounding grid lines are black, but if you fill it, they turn grey.

I have made a tiny modification to the code to make the filled cells a blue-ish color so that they don't completely hide the gridlines.
Thanks for everyone who gave that feedback as well as ideas to solve it.
I am currently working on changes to the creation system, so expect a new update in the next few weeks! :)
Edit: If you are currently solving a nonogram, refresh and you should see the change (Ctrl+F5 to force a full refresh)
Also if you haven't noticed, 3 people have made bonus nonograms that are now featured on the first post, and two others made nono threads, so that makes even more to solve!! Thanks a lot to everyone, it always brings me a smile to see I have unread messages in the morning, and to see more and more nonograms being made ^^

As Alaundo said, it would be nice to be able to make our own nonograms. Personally, I would like, if possible, to be able to choose the dimensions and place the numbers on the edges myself. A few months ago, I had created a nonogram creator in Excel, and I had used it at one of my events.

RosimInc's 2025 Nonogram Café
Announcements
2025-01-07 - New code update!
I have updated the game with many improvements! See this post for details!
2025-01-02 - 2025 Edition Begins!
Hello everyone!
First of all Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you all a lovely 2025 <3
Back in 2020, I made the first version of the Nonogram Café, it was a lot of fun but it was quite tedious to create and play the puzzles.
A week ago I started looking at different alternatives online, and finally gave up, and made my own creator and player instead.
So I officially present to you my fully online, fully interactive nonogram player! ^^
Which comes with a nonogram creator, naturally. Look below for the link to it!
I will post a new nonogram weekly, leading to a giveaway each. Giveaways will end one week after the next for fun all year round!
Now you get to play; let's get cracking!™ ;)
