i have some question about extra copies.

I see new promo on some Valve games and i see something about extra copies when you already have game,

in this case, i just want to know,
for exemple i buy this pack ,

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/469

for my account, they giveme copies of HL 1 and 2?

i don't know why they don't give extra copies for everything. The spare copy just disappears!

Choice of the publisher. Most would prefer the extra money they imagine they can make.

when you buy a game like "the ship" they gave you 1 or 2 copy, depend of the publisher as DeltaBladeX said

That is a different thing. This topic is referring to getting a game bundle and getting extra copies of games you already owned.

The Ship just gives extra gifts. Its basically a 5 pack of a single game.
