Grim Dawn or Hand of Fate?!
I don't have both games but Grim Dawn looks closer to Victor Vran, plus it has multiplayer which can potentially increase the lifespan/replay value significantly compared to singleplayer only. I do have some bias since I recently read this article. Grim Dawn takes the cake imo.

Grim just announced that with it's recent update it's content complete. They'll be continuing to polish and bug fix for it's planned exit of EA in Feb.

Haven't play Hand of Fate, but Grim Dawn is a excellent game. It's not quite finished yet, but theres quite a bit to be played.

My vote is for HoF, but I'm a sucker for the CGRPG genre [check out Card Hunter sometime, it's free, and Runespell: Overture is great as well].
I'm also not big on playing EA games, so..
Yeah, my choice'd be pretty straightforward.
They're both excellent looking, and easily recommendable games, however :)

In terms of longevity, Grim Dawn should get you a lot more playtime than Hand of Fate. The game is, as mentioned a couple times, content complete as of today. I believe it has also raised in price already (from 23 euros to 25), so it is entirely possible that it'll reach the 30 euro mark by the time in gets out of early access. Not sure why people are complaining about it being in EA for ages, because it got a major content update every 2-3 months - you know, basically how EA is supposed to be used.
Also, yes, it is true that it has been 50% off in the past, but I assume that discount will not be around until AT LEAST summer, and even if it does hit the 50% mark, the increased price will probably mean that you'll get it for just about the same money.

I have not played Hand of Fate, but am a Grim Dawn backer on Kickstarter (my first!). As of the backer update sent out today, Grim Dawn is feature complete. They expect to move Grim Dawn out of Early Access sometime in February, so not too far away. I guess the biggest thing would be whether you like classic ARPGs (especially Titan Quest since of course it's from the same developers) or the gameplay that Hand of Fate has to offer. Good luck!

I'd go for Grim Dawn personally because it looks a lot more fun and possibly lasts longer than Hands of Fate, in terms of longevity. Also, I'd much prefer an aRPG rather than a card game so I might be a bit bias :p

They are two pretty different genres, I must say.
If you played and liked the Batman Arkham series and would like to play more games and roguelikes with the same combat system, Hand of Fate is for you.
I didn't play Grim Dawn, but I'm pretty sure it must be a Hack & Slasher like Diablo, right? If the ARPGs you like are more like Diablo, you should go for Grim Dawn. :)

So I've gathered up a lot of cards over this year and only recently really kicked up the whole trading business, now my wallet has enough to buy a game for up to $15.
I decided to pick up one of my top wishlist games and the choice came down to:
I'm a big fan of aRPGs (Victor Vran is highly recommended!) and also really <3 card games (~500 hours on Spectromancer and I have an MTG real life group). Both have great reviews and seem unique (HoF is a real genre-bender).
Things I consider - replay value | lifespan / chance of getting a better discount / future & current DLCs & Expansions
Other things to consider?
I'm stuck. (>_<)
Any suggestions, SG dwellers? Does anyone have both games to compare?
Any help will be appreciated!
