I just finished with a group giveaway for the steam group i'm getting started for my friends and myself. However after the gift has been won/received it shows no activity in the "Gifts Sent" stats.

Is there a new policy on group / private giveaways when it comes to total gifts send and contributor value is concerned?

You need more than one entry for it to count, that's the only restriction.

Also, the game must be redeemed on the winner's account. Surprisingly many people seem to "forget" it, which sooner or later results in a ban.

If most of your giveaways have been for bundle games, your value wont rise.

E: Oh I just noticed the win, lol.

I think that theoretically, you might have a false alarm there. AFAIK Torchlight 2 cannot be added to anyone's library yet (at least I haven't seen anyone with TL2 activated, even though they said they bought it). And the CS:GO he won was a beta, which could have disappeared when the beta ended.

Everyone who preordered T2 surely has it in their library greyed out, waiting to be released and downloaded.

Can you show me at least one? (No sarcasm or anything, I'm genuinely interested.) Here's the list of previous Torchlight II giveaways -- you can check the winners and see if at least one has it publicly showing in his library. (I've only checked a few of them, not all.)

I have no clue about SG winners.

You CANNOT see preordered items if you look at other peoples games. They will show there when those games are released (and possibly when downloaded). Others people games =/= Other peoples library.

"Others people games =/= Other peoples library."

Ah, yes, problems with terminology. What I was talking about was what you or I can see when we open other people's profiles -- and there, we simply cannot see Torchlight 2, even if the person did preorder it. Which means we cannot say someone hasn't redeemed TL2 based only on the fact we don't see it.

Sometimes the hostility at this website now really amazes me. This was a simple question and i'm certainly NOT trying to increase my contributor valve just for the sake of it (i split up an indie bundle knowing full well i would not get full "value" for each separate game as the cap is $25 for bundled titles with the new rules and system in place)

TF2 does show in my inventory as a pre-order but you cannot see it publicly - this was merely an exercise to show a friend of mine how the site works in general and within a group context.
