Fallout is an old series that took major change in its gameplay in its third installment. I personally consider Bethesda to have poor writing and character designs and felt that the world they created wasn't very interesting. Nonetheless, its independent follow-up game New Vegas had Obsidian working on it and I have heard good comments regarding it. Never played it myself but seems to be well received. Is there a reason why you haven't jumped in to the radiated desert to fight giant lizards? Or have you already finished the trip to Vegas?

You might have a Nuka cola addiction. I recommend seeing a doctor to check your radiation levels.

Only found out about it after Winter sale. Can't afford it off-sale so I don't own it... yet. ^^;
I might pick it up next sale though. If I don't win it here :P

Nice game, but I prefered 2 and then 3 as favorites of the series. Not played 4 yet.

Beaten the base game on 360 twice. Didn't have a chance to import my saves, and haven't wanted to start over for DLCs.

Didn't played because I don't care. If something is well-known then it doesn't mean that you have to play it too.

If Assasin Creed Unity or Quantum Break or Batman Arkham Knight or Gears of War Collection or just some not-broken AAA game is well-known it doesn't mean that you have to buy/play.

It doesn't metter how popular/awesome/well-known game is. If I don't care/I'm not interested/it's not my type of game I won't play it because I don't see any point for that.

Certainly. There are plenty of solid reasons why people wouldn't pick this one, or any other game. I am interested here different viewpoints whether they are related to the gaming experience itself or the passing of it.

It's a game that deserves to be played even for just listening Mr. New Vegas.

I never played past the intro because I don't care about it. I realize that I will probably never finish either fo3 or new vegas but if I'm gonna waste time trying to beat one I picked fo3 because I'm east coast so I enjoy the setting more. Fo3 even has my destroyed county in it which is kinda cool. New Vegas features Vegas which I don't give a shit about. Thanks for the ga though, even if I'm not entering .

Played NV outside Steam DLC's included, long ago. And really enjoyed it, even flirted with own brain... Lol.
The endings with all Fallout games, even 4, seem to be kinda... "samey" though, with boring after filming. A real let down to the fun of the game itself. You either join side A, B or C, and pretty much still end up going to the exact same place, doing the exact same battle, where the only difference is your opponents... Having played 4, can say that's much the same, just slightly different in the methods, just ultimately destroy the Institute, or side with them. Yawn.

I'm debated about entering, since I'd miss the DLC's too much...
Still, thanks for the giveaway and have a bumpo-cola, a new creation ;)

To be honest I never really heard about it until last year, once I got a game I liked I stuck with it for a long time and ignored the others.

The fact that nv was a massive pile of bugs and crashes didn't help :D

never played any Fallout games. At first they didn't excite me, like Fallout 1 and 2, and then ... i didn't happen to buy any of them. Was busy playing other games :)
