Anyone else who pre-ordered this thinks the achievements is broken? My achievements
The only achievement I have is for pre-ordering, can't seem to "achieve" the others, yet global achievements seem to be working? And how exactly does only 94% of current players have the pre-order achievement if the game only releases tomorrow?

Well what about the people who do pre-order the game? Apart from early access, what do they get out of it? I don't think restricted content for pre-orders is a problem, as long as it's not content that gives them an advantage in multiplayer.

Developers can always release the preorder content as a paid DLC. And it would be okay if they did.. but most of them just doesn't care.

As soon as that happens, everyone will start to complain that they're trying to get more money out of their fans. Comments like "Milking their constomers" and "They should have included it for free!" will get thrown around.

They cannot possibly make everyone happy.

So they should stop offering pre-order bonuses. Or, even better, pre-orders in general. Problem solved.

If you're so desperate to support a studio that you'd pre-order, just send them a donation instead.

Pre-orders are OPTIONAL. Just because you're upset that you can't afford to play the game at the same time as everyone else doesn't justify why pre-orders shouldn't exist.

People are desperate to get the game as early as possible, not support a studio. The only people who are directly supported when you buy a steam pre-order, are Valve, not the developer who have already sold their copies to Valve.

Because they are among the first to buy the game. I see no problem in providing incentives for those who buy games early. No one is forcing you to pre-order.

Well the game isn't technically released yet, so maybe that has something to do with the Dark Ages achievement glitch.

I think the achievements are broken because at my first win i got this achievement "Hero of the Turks"

"Hero of the Turks" - You have led the Turks to victory one hundred times! Your name will be listed among their greatest heroes.

I think they count in multiples of 100. Coz, my friend has apparently 1000 victories with the Persians.

I have a couple of achievements.

You only get the pre-order achievement when actually playing.
I guess 6 % pre-ordered it, but didn't actually play.

Pretty sure I had my achievement before I even booted the game.

@OP: yes achievements are completely broken.
