Nup. Happened almost a year ago now if I'm thinking correctly. Probably Valve's way of combating key reselling. All I know is I spend less money on games now.
I was so bummed out about it that it was the reason I stopped doing giveaways for so long.

You have to give it to them at the time of purchase. I believe you can also set it to be delivered to them at a future date.
Either way you can no longer purchase a game to give away to a random person later, and that's just a damn shame.

I'm also worried about keeping keys for too long, even if it's HB. I've heard of problems if you've already generated a gift link for a long time but otherwise I think it's safe.

I still have Humble Bundle keys from when the website was first made and, as far as I know, they still work, so I'm not actually too worried about the Humble keys.

I'm also still pretty upset about the whole no-inventory-gifts-anymore thing. Especially since I used to be very bad about keeping track of all the leftover keys I had from other sites. I guess if there is one good thing that came out of it, it's that I did get a lot better at organizing all my purchases and keys, lol.

Man, Valve getting rid of the ability to buy gifts and put them into my inventory really killed my buzz. I always loved to just randomly purchase games throughout the year and give them out whenever I felt like it. Ah well, end of an era I suppose.
Here you guys go, these have been just sitting in my inventory for the last year or so. I figure now's a good a time as any to have one last Steam Gift train. I wish it could have been a better one, but ah well, what can you do?
I'd really like to do what I did before with gifts. Maybe I'll just do it with the Humble Store and GreenManGaming instead of Steam. I'm always paranoid that my keys would expire though, in spite of knowing otherwise.
