"You played 812 games" ,"792 achievements unlocked"
well 300-400 of them are under 5 minutes :D I have a huge target to try at least most of my game library, I think I made a good start
The 2023 value was 281 games and 319 achievements, not a bad improvement

1,915 Games Played, 2,937 Achievements Unlocked. 1719 more achievements than last year.
I also have a personal commit to try all the games in my library. 800+ are free games I played for 5 minutes with ASF so I could follow how many games I've played, +98% according to SG (123 games left according to my own lists). Those free games didn't gave me any achievement, but trying the +1,000 ones did. Hence my low achievement percentage, 11% (past year it was 13%), despite finishing more games than ever. Some achievements are like "you start a new game for the first time" or "your first death", silly ones you get almost instantly, and any game not profile limited, which has at least 1 achievement unlocked counts towards that percentage.

Less games. More % of achievements. Play to 100%.

got a 10+ year old win 7 pc and a steam deck
i play game offline on steam deck soooooooo those hours are not added. would say about 500 steam deck hours not showing up
the reason for the hours tho is afk card farming
i finished the game in 1.4 hours but need 9.7 to get every card to drop.
some of my hours also come from playing idle games.
10+ of them at once

Credits to Valve and Gabe for releasing suck an amazing device. And Congrats to you for getting your bucks worth out of the device(poor Steam Deck).Sadly, no Steam Decks available in my country, even if they were my stupid financial decisions wouldnt leave me with any money to get a Steam Deck. Here's to wishing 2025 is a better year for my gaming and Gaming Industry/World in general.

honestly i hate my steam deck. fine for stupid basic things and has some of the weirdest ass bugs. but if you want to do anything with it like install mods or use desktop mode its all kinds of fucky. causes me endless hours of stress just trying to get things working.
ooooh i got it working after a few hours of tweaking, updated steam deck.... fuck cant get game to run anymore..... still not able.
steam deck not handing out achievements for games randomly. some games it wont give you any others its like 1 in 20 wont unlock.
ive finished the game on hard, but i have yet to kill my 1st enemy???
last bug i hit
trying to remove all the failed screen shots off my steam deck and i guess if you select all and delete all it deletes all selected your SCREEN SHOTS OFF ALL OF STEAM!!!!! lost 350 of them...
even ones i had uploaded off my pc.
mate my steam deck with a passion and should have just got a laptop
3/10 it works, most of the time......
reason steam deck DOESNT have a reviewable page on steam

for example i have 222.4 hours on crosscode on my steam deck. the sotre page only has me for 6.1
500 guess may be a low ball guess and it could be much higher....now that i see the numbers

3rd edit 222.4 hours seemed wrong and checking my saves its only just over 71 hours. no idea where the fuck steam is getting the other hours from????? ive lost all trust in steams launcher at this point.

Nice.
When I see those numbers, I see somebody who has made an effort to not allow games purchased to just sit there unplayed. Which is good. The interest in the hobby is making an effort to keep pace with the investment in the hobby.

There's an error in mine, doesn't show Forza Horizon 4 with 31 hrs and bunch of achievements for some reason, would prob. be #3 or 4 for the entire year otherwise.

Wanna find new games for myself ^^

I haven't played anywhere near as many games as some other people here but I'm pretty happy with my stats myself, squeezed a lot of achievements out of not that many games this year :)

As usual the spider graph showing genre distribution leaves me a bit confused tho, what's "mythology" supposed to be when it comes to games' genres? Also the fact that racing just straight up punches through the graph's border is hilarious XD

This only means that 50% of Steam users (or whatever population they used for the stats) played 6 or less games this year... Considering bot and alt accounts (possibly untouched accounts too?), I am not terribly surprised.
Edit: wait, this is strange, mine says "Steam Median 4"? I wonder if it changed since the first day, or if the population iI see s different from yours?

Being the slowpoke that I am, I'm surprised I still played 55 games. That's more than I thought.
Lockdown Protocol already on the third spot, even though I've only had it for less than a month! :O
Apparently I didn't do it in 2023 so I can't see the stats from last year, that sucks. :(

The revelation for me is that I played more games using k/m than gamepad, which seems weird considering I enjoy playing with a gamepad more. And even stranger considering how many games I played on the Steam Deck (which counts as gamepad). It means the majority of games played on desktop, I used k/m.

I find I just don't feel like reaching five feet over to grab my gamepad at times, lol. Ultimate gamer laziness.
Although I have noticed that a lot of games I play don't suit the gamepad as well. Which is a larger contributing factor.
Still, definitely surprising. I had a similar issue with my index finger for a couple years. It didn't necessarily alter my gaming habits, but it did change the type of picks I could use while playing guitar. I needed grippier picks because I could feel how much pressure I was actually applying otherwise.
