no real reason to wait till the last day of the steam sale anymore, in all honesty, all that will happen between now and then is a few games may get given discounts.... The great majority especially in the last day or two will have their discounts removed or made worse.

It's always better during the sale to buy early..

I have a really hard time making up my mind about what I'm gonna buy, I'll probably get some of the cheap stuff from my wishlist. The ones that I'll most likelly end up buying are:

A lot of people (including myself) say the sales get worse each time.

But seriously, this time the sales were pretty damn weak.
Especially Bethseda. I have no idea why older Elder Scrolls and older Fallouts are still so expensive.

I'm only waiting on Cities Skyline. It was $10 a few weeks ago, and since it is sitting at $12 now, I want to wait to see if GMG price-matches them, since they have stackable coupons (would bring the price back down to $10)

I'm looking at Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (I can get it at $15 because of the bundle deal), or the Adult Swim Games Bundle (missing 5 games from it, and costs about $20). Which one I eventually get depends on how much I've made from all the summer sale cards by the last day...

(I might cave in and get Borderlands TPS if I get just enough though instead of waiting :P )

MAYBE I'll buy before the sale ends:

Traverser - € 3.74
Ether One Deluxe - € 5.59
Assassins Creed Chronicles Trilogy - € 12.49
Dex - € 4.99
Tales of Zestiria - € 19.99

For sure not all of them, but I'm considering those in particular. Might just as well get nothing though.
I had planned to get Sherlock Holmes - Crimes and Punishment and Rise of the Tomb Raider, but those ended up far too expensive for what I'm willing to pay for computer games.

If you are interested in Tales of Zestiria, you should check Tales of Symphonia. It's older than Zestiria but it's cheaper and a better game imo.

That childlike character look does not at all appeal to me, that's why I prefered Zestiria over it. Also Z. seems to have a more action RPG like gameplay compared to the party based turn based gameplay S. seems to have. Please correct me if I'm wrong and let me know why you think it's the better game.

Tales of S. isn't turn based, you can switch between characters mid fight but only use one at a time, the others are controlled by artificial intelligence. Tales of Z. has nice visuals and a more open world feel to it than Symphonia but the characters feel bland and boring, the story is forgettable, the combat feels slower than previous games and the game has a lot of backtracking. Tales of S. isn't as open world but I liked the characters a lot more, the combat was more enjoyable, engaging and didn't feel as grindy, the story isn't great but still better than in Z. and I liked the music more as well. Tales of Z. isn't a bad game by any means and if you like open world, changing costumes and the more mature look of the characters then you probably will enjoy it more than S. but overall I think Symphonia is the better game.

Lame sale indeed. What's the point of it lasting 10 days if it's always the same. Flash&Community were what made them interesting.
