Had it sitting there for ages. I know it's good but never felt like sitting and watching the movie by myself.

Korean and Japanese movies are good even though I'm neither. Some Chinese movies from directors like Zhang Yimou are awesome to say the least.

If you're unsure about Korean lanugage movies, try watching Stoker. It's English, but directed by the same director, Chan-wook Park. Also, the soundtrack is by Clint Mansell, making it an unbelievable combination. Stoker's script is not as good as Oldboy's, but it has the same tension that Chan-wook Park brings.

Yes, especially if you're looking for contenders to the title "most messed up revenge plot of all time"

You really should give it a chance, it's going to be regarded as a cinema classic 10 years from now. Don't watch the English dub though, the voice overs are terrible.

Yes. Watch it dubbed if you have to, original lang is better tho.

Korean cinema is the best cinema in the world IMO. It's a shame so many people don't know about it.
Oldboy is a classic. Got 10/10 from me if I recall. Go for it.

This. Definitely watch Oldboy. Not the American remake though. Then watch I Saw The Devil afterwards. Enjoyed that just as much, if not more, as Oldboy. A Tale of Two Sisters is another good one, if you're wanting to watch some Korean horror. Should watch The Host too.

Some people have been highly recommending Oldboy(2003) to me,problem is,it's in Korean and I don't usually watch them. Is it worth watching if I have problems keeping up with the subtitles/audio?
