Considering that the video of Godus was only 2 weeks work imagine what they could do with a full backing.

I really hope they get the full pledge as there so close. Also Populous was one of the first games I ever owned and I still enjoy playing it from time to time.

Well it made its goal, hope it gets some of the extra stretch goals now. Co-op sounds like fun.

I hate when a Dev says if we reach this goal I will support linux and mac or other systems ,Creating a linux or other systems = MORE MONEY AND MORE BUYERS ! .

Also some projects are really abusing the kickstarter , thats why its now hard to get the good ones refunded .

The idea here is to fund the development. This is a role that publishers frequently take on at the expense of the developer having less creative freedom. Yes, building for Mac/Linux might lead to more sales but if you can't afford the extra cost of porting in the first place that doesn't do you any good. The alternative is to release the game and then use that revenue to fund the porting activity.

I really do hope they manage to pull this off.

Looks promising. Co-op is always a nice bonus too.

I think it was really annoying that Molynex went to kickstarter to fund his project, any publisher in the world would have given him backing, he just claims that it is "part of the game" BS
