Why would he need all that info for just a cheque.

You know whats really bad is, he offered $100 more for a crappy video card (AGP) and for 2x 2GB of laptop memory...(thats $150 all together)

Too many rules and steps. It lulls you into thinking its real. But the fact of the matter is, he won't be handling the transaction himself and the "Cheque is in the mail". The fact that your tempted, despite those last two fact, makes this sounds SUPER Scammy

So fake. Happened to me before when trying to buy suspiciously cheap high end guitars. It's just online scam with automatically generated reply. Try to contact him again and you will get another wall of text, or maybe he won't reply at all

Did anyone else read the fake email scams posted at the bottom of the CL linked by Movac? I liked the 2nd one about cars, especially the bit: "Now the car is in my property and as a woman i don't need it.". LOL! Bit of stereotyping going on right there by the scammer...

Thoses alway be 100% fake just like what see in that Spoiler Alert or close to it with them scammer yup I get them from craigslist and reply back to them saying f$%k off you nigerian scams.
