Congrats on a decade, old man! Mine's around 4-5 years, I think? Started with just Dota 2 in my account for about 2 years then came the realization that PC gaming is actually affordable with all the sales and bundles going around. Fast forward the next 3 years and I'm stuck with 2k+ games in my account somehow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

9 years, going 10 in April.
Though for the first few years, it really was just to play the Half-Life 2 demo, then used it for Audiosurf and really only started actual good use due to bundles and store-bought DVD's with Steam-code's that forced Steam upon me.

Technically 6 years. It was for TF2. In reality, it's around 4 years old or so. 4 years of active use is already old for me, so I can't imagine what 10 years would feel for you :D

I still remember the day when I was 16 years old and in the first school break I went to the store to buy HL2, and they had just put out the box with the copies from the warehouse in front of the shelfs to sort them in. I was the first that day to buy a copy :)

I hesitated at launch day but wanted to keep playing counterstrike: updates only via a new client called steam... and they said that stupid always online DRM will be needed for HL2 anyway ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hey there people, just wanted to spam you with some news you probably don't care about. Steam informed me that my account is ten year old today, so at least you get a giveaway train. I've stopped playing pirate versions of games ten years now, which is when I started earning money. Good!
