I think I'm lucky I have fantastic friends. I haven't won anything big, maybe a hat or two here and there on TF2, Zombie Shooter on SteamGifts from a generous gifter, but really, the friends I make are my luckiest winnings. They send gifts to me during sales, hell, one of them gave me Portal 2 for PS3 the day it released and it shipped to my house around 10 am...some friends make me stuff to use for my profiles on various sites, and mainly support and sympathy. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm maybe a good person or what, but whenever I feel sort of unlucky, I look at my Friend's List and the messages on my phone and realize I'm the luckiest guy in the world.

You guys are way too lucky. Besides the key for Battlefield 3 I got from IGN, the luckiest thing I ever won was a cold Big Mac in a bingo on my english course. Oh well, I was hungry anyway.

I once won a book about squirrels in a draw when I was 7. That made me really happy back then. :)

I have a beautiful wife/friend, two wonderful children, a job I love, an awesome family and extended family, and everlasting life.

I won a small smoothie at mcdonalds.

I won both dawn of war 1 giveaways that compyman ran (platinum edition and soulstorm). 1 was for s. gifters and one for s. wishlist. One had 17 entries the other had 14. That was a good day.

Anyone familiar with those games where you win tickets at restaurants? (then you redeem your tickets for prizes) I was pretty lucky and managed to get 2 jackpot wins in a row on a game called "The Cyclone", yeah... I felt pretty good that day.

and another time I found $20 on the ground outside of a gas station after I forgot my wallet at home.

and a few years back when there was a sniper in Washington DC, me and my family missed a turn that would have put us right where he killed 4 people one day.

Some guy was gifting random games in a thread on /v/ and I asked for Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is a favorite game of mine.

Apparently he was also a huge fan of the game and immediately gifted me a copy just because I asked for it.

Also I got a bunch of other games for free somehow I don't even know why.

I was lucky to meet a girl who is crazy in a way that is exactly complementary to the way I am. :-)
