So i made a mistake on a giveaway, i require help

So, i was to give away two copies, i sent it via email like i should and i ended up sending the same gift link for one copy to both of the winners

i never done a giveaway, this is my first and i made the mistake, my brother is telling me there will be severe backlash because of this and i don't know what to do

unless someone claims the link, and confirms i sent it i will have no idea which one didn't receive their win if they write back saying the link didn't work

im asking here if there is anyway i can fix this problem i made, and if not then whats the punishment if i fail to send the gifts and they confirm?

People can only participate if they have not got the game on steam. Whomever redeems the key will get the game added to their steam account. You can check their steam profiles on their steamgifts account.

Just send both people an e-mail explaining the problem. Also, check their Steam profiles to see which one actually has the game now, so you can send the second one to the other person.
