best thing is even if you dont have the game you can still have the free dlc and it will be activated when and if you buy the game.

EA logic,BF3 is popular why give them free stuff for supporting us.Lets give free stuff to games that are not that good and did not sell well because we rather give free dlc to bad games that sold bad then admit we screwed up.BF3 could use some love as it still popular and still liked and played by a lot of people but nope lets give free stuff to bad games.

Yes i am aware the base game was giving free but they give such terrible discounts on the premium dlc and seeing how most play maps that need dlc that giving the base game free still nets them sales.So they give you the base game but to fully enjoy online you need the premium which when on sale is usually 14.99 so they still get a sale.And they make more then they would selling the base game on sale.
Also funny how in the Origin Access that even still the BF3 game comes with no dlc but yet Hardline comes with everything and BF4 has all dlc.So if i was to guess i would think BF3 must still be a solid seller for them other wise why not give all the dlc with it?
They also gave DA Origin away for free but to get the dlc cheap you have to buy the UE edition so you have to buy the same game twice to get the dlc so so much for being free.They are not doing this to be kind they are doing it to drum up sales if they wanted to be kind both games would have had all dlc with them or at least a step discount to get the dlc.
Though my point was there are better games to offer free stuff for then those two.

Well... to be honest I bought BF3 cheap like $2.00 or $3.00 before it went Free. And later I bought Premium pack that for me was cheap was like $14.99 or 11.99 I don't remember well. And you wouldn't believe that I haven't touched a single DLC Map yet. (I most also add that I haven't played BF3 in a while but still is one on my favorite games) My favorite map is "Operation Metro" And I play as a Medic ;p. For me the DLC's aren't needed. Right Now is on sale on Origin store like $14.99 and maybe on summer or Christmas sale can lower a little more or not.

That may be so but still there reason BF3 never got full dlc for free because they knew they would make up for giving it away BF3 free as those will buy the missing dlc.Also as i said the fact that even the full package is missing from the EA 4.99 vault pass thing while the other ones have a bunch of dlc does not say much for there newer stuff having dlc but not BF3 which is older.
In the end this just all boils down to EA giving away free stuff to put themselves on the back and say hey we do this,it not because they truly want to be nice if they did BF3 would have had all dlc along with dragon age and others they gave for free its a ploy to sell dlc to make money no matter what while telling everyone they give free stuff on a regular basis.
In the end it still nice of them to do it as they do not have to do it all it,but i do not think for one moment it just because they want be nice.It but without the dlc you can not enjoy the full product or online play.It would be like saying free 5 gallons of gas but the catch is you need to buy a gas can to hold it in or if you want to pump it into your car you will only get 3 Then it boils down to not a full free 5 gallons.Same with this base game is free but to fully enjoy it you need the dlc.
BF3 is not free if you still have to buy dlc for it to enjoy the full product and a lot of people play the dlc maps.The same as 5 gallons of gas is not full free 5 gallons if you have to spend 10 bucks on a gas can.In the end both are free but not without added cost if you want to take full advantage of it.

You all better check the "Game Details" of all your games on Origin. I not only managed to get those Battlefield DLCs, I also got some free DLCs for Sims 4, Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2

Am sure they would give away BFHardline before 4. Hardline's playerbase is awful.. less than 1.5k peoples daily, whereas BF4 usually around 20k.
