I bet this is fake - but even not who the hell wants to have a crash in their own home

Maybe we should bring back the Dance Dance Revolution dance pads for moving in shooter games and some zapinators to shoot each other with in different games

VR already has these kind of threadmills.

I know the video is just exaggeration for the the sake of humor but it reminded me of going to the arcade as a kid, not only there were on-rail shooters that had light-guns with actual recoil but there were also those bike racing games where the controller was shaped like an actual bike and you had to throw your body weight to the side when taking corners.

I mean its quite obvious that the original OP is doing it for shits and giggles and nothing else. That piston powered table I think has been on the internet going around as an exhaggereted joke for some time.. Yet this youtube "content creator" just took some videos and called it "future of gaming"? How low will the content theft go?
Aside from the sad attempt at trying to report a joke video as news, I would love extra realistic simulator, but its not like that doesnt exist... For driving you can already use (super expensive) simulators that mimic G forces along with driving mechanics. https://virtuix.com/ - there are already these things.
Sorry for being a bit blunt, but while I find the original creator fun, the reposter is epitome of horrible content creation on social media now.

Well, I knew it was a well made vid, with tricks, exaggerated effects and old footage. But to me it served as proof of concept for hyperrealistic input devices.
I think I've seen the Virtuix, or something very similar, in action. But it doesn't fit my room. Too bad. I saw it in IIRC a YT vid about how cool of a driving setup you could do with 100, 1000, 10,000 and 100,000 sterling pounds. The last was an F1 training sim for pilots, but I think it was way over 100K. It doesn't fit in my room either, too bad.

Yeah, sure. The concept is pretty cool. For me the beef is with these "creators" who just steal others work and make up bullshit and then call it their own.
I would love to try out the Virtiux or something like that. But as far as driving goes - I am also perfectly fine with just having the G29 and attaching it to my table from now and then.. I would like to at some time build cockpit, car seat and put steering wheel and screen in that. But for now I don't have place for it neither :( Next step for me at least is trying g29 with VR and playing Dirt Rally 2 or something. That should be pretty cool as well

I'd rather be the guy able to make these gaming gadgets.
